Class 8, Assignment 9: JavaScript Programming Path CLASS DECISION

I don't think it is completely official yet, but I think so far the entire class has pretty much decided on Codecademy, so I'm going to guess at this point (since there are some stragglers who have yet to give their opinion), that we're going to end up selecting that one as a class.

Class 8, Assignment 7: World of Warcraft vs JME

I thought that the rendering speed and visuals of Wow were of very good quality.  I couldn't really get JME to load on my computer, so it is hard to compare completely. I did look at some videos of different games created from JME and some of them did look like they were pretty high quality and rendered quickly for other computers. 

In general, I was actually pretty impressed with the rendering speed of all the different objects in WoW. I actually included a few pictures particularly because there was so much going on around me and yet the objects and everything loaded very nicely and without issues. Even in the villages and cities where there were a lot of other people, in game characters and other visuals (like the Halloween themed pumpkins and flames that you can see in at least one of the pictures), it all rendered pretty well for the most part. 

Class 8, Assignment 4: Exploring JME

I couldn't get the applet or the webstart to work despite trying multiple browsers, but I did take a look at the showcase.
